Tina May has 25 years of experience in marketing, public relations and advertising with companies such as: Bank of America, LM Berry Directories of America, Fox TV, Media General Group, and Palomino Horses Magazine. Tina’s equine involvement includes: PHBA Member, National Director, Vice Chairman Marketing Committee, Youth Committee Member, Amateur VP Northwest Florida Palomino Association, Youth Advisor NFPA, AQHA – NSBA Member, Novice Amateur Exhibitor, Youth Exhibitor’s Mother, Judge’s/Trainer’s & Sundowner’s Pro Staff wife. Tina has been married to Doug for 23 years and they have 2 children Alex, 21 and Katie, 14. They live in Greenwood, Florida and own and operate May Performance Horses.

Pam Warden

Art Director

Pam Warden currently resides in Winnfield Louisiana on a small 2 acre ranch. Located in a beautiful southern forested area...the inspiration for her company name.... Southwood Graphics. Ms Warden has been involved in the publishing field for 25 years. Born in Louisiana but raised in California, she showed at AQHA shows on the West Coast for a number of years highlighted by owning a Res. Grand Champion Gelding at the Cow Palace in San Francisco California Owner and designer of Southwood Graphics is a time consuming business. Now in its 12th year, Pam designs ads for some of the Nations leading breeders & trainers of PHBA, AQHA & APHA Horses. Pam is still heavily involved with AQHA Halter Horses but now relies on PHBA Judge & AQHA Professional Horseman, Jarrell Jackson to condition, train and manage her horses. leaving time for The PHBA Magazine as well as her Equine Photography business and Southwood Graphics.

Laura Kathryn Gilmer

Laura Kathryn Gilmer has been involved with horses for over 25 years. Mainly showing at AQHA shows. Laura was a multiple Quarter Horse Congress and National title winner. After receiving her Master's Degree in journalism from the University of Southern California, Laura became a feature writer for the Equine Chronicle and the Equine Journal. Laura holds many judges cards including her APHA, PHBA, NSBA, and NRHA cards. Currently, she lives in Franklin Tennessee and has a five year old little boy named Hunter.

Lindsey Missel

Assistant Writer
Lindsey has been involved in PHBA for 14 years & has been on the Executive Board for 4 years. She is a PHBA World Champion, with multiple top five and top ten placings, a Supreme , 2 Championships and many year end high point awards. She was high school yearbook editor & on the high school newspaper. Lindsey was a Communications intern at the Pinto Horse Assocation where she wrote, took pictures and worked on their Web site. Currently a junior at Oklahoma State University, majoring in Agricultural Communications with a minor in Agricultural Leadership.

Alex May

Assistant Writer
Alex is a twenty-one year old college student and is currently attending Florida State University where he hopes to graduate in the spring with a major in English Literature and a minor in Business Administration. Alex has been involved with horses since the age of seven and has shown with PHBA during his four years as a youth exhibitor. Alex has several R.O.M.s and Top Tens in the nation and assists his family in their daily operations of May performance horses. To date, Alex’s work has been featured in several newspapers and magazines.

Steve Willis

Website Design

Steve Wills has 20 plus years of experience in the computer software industry.  While working as the Reseller Account Manager of companies such as Computer Associates,  Steve was responsible for sales quota, MDF ( marketing development funds ), Co-op advertising  and motivational training for over 300 VARs ( value added resellers ) in the southeastern U.S.  These VARs accounted for over  $18 million in annual sales in the late 1990s into such clients as Fed-X, Farm Bureau and Eastman Chemical.  For the past 11 years Steve has used his experience to assist his wife Nina Willis in the promotion of Nina Willis Performance Horses.   Although we have not shown on the PHBA circuit, we have successfully campaigned multiple horses to World and Reserve World Titles as well as top 10 placings in APHA and PtHA.    We are currently showing AQHA, PtHA & APHA but look forward to helping anyone interested in showing PHBA.   Steve maintains his partnership and works daily in the business NECI that is responsible for the design and building of this website.   Steve is looking forward to assisting you along with Silver Spur Media in promoting your business.
